IN Division One BISHOP THORNTON were firing on all cylinders against MASHAM, collecting a stunning ten-wicket victory.
Masham reached 149-8 after good work from Dion Wood (34) and Anthony Broadley (30no) but excellent knocks from Brian Mash (94no) and Paul Sowray (40no) saw Thornton overhaul with ease.
KIRKBY MALZEARD sent DACRE BANKS to a three-wicket loss, Dacre having set a respectable target of 226 all out courtesy of modest efforts from Matthew Halse (53), Neil Houseman (35) and G Crossley (32), Peter Kirk (4-50) and Paul Goldsmith (3-55) taking the wickets.
