SEATTLE, May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Holland America Line today reaffirmed its historic ties to Holland by reflagging seven of its eight large luxury cruise ships in the Netherlands.
The ss Rotterdam, ms Nieuw Amsterdam, ms Noordam, ms Westerdam, ms Statendam, ms Maasdam and ms Ryndam have been registered in the Netherlands and fly the Dutch flag. All seven ships are staffed by Dutch nautical, technical and marine hotel officers.
Holland America Line took this action to take advantage of the positive economic and fiscal surroundings in the Netherlands that enable Holland America to perform shipping activities in the country and to again fly the "family" flag and ...
