WASHINGTON, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Daimler-Benz unveiled today a fully functional light duty passenger vehicle powered by a fuel cell.

"This is a substantial engineering achievement and an important milestone in the history of the automobile," said Robert R. Rose, president of Fuel Cells 2000, a private nonprofit organization.
