Building on technology from the award-winning Regal Color Copier and its industry presence with the well-received DocuTech monochrome electronic printing devices, Xerox has introduced the DocuColor 40 Digital Color Production System, which the company says is designed to make short-run, on-demand color printing commercially viable.
The first in a new family of digital color production systems, the DocuColor 40 can output up to 40 pages per minute (30 ppm duplex) at 400 dpi, and features extensive color management capabilities, quality optimization tools, and the ability to image onto a wide variety of paper stocks and sizes.
