GORDON Brown was facing an election fight in his own backyard last night following the death of a Labour MP.
John MacDougall, 60, died in the early hours of yesterday after a long battle with cancer.
He represented Glenrothes, which borders the Prime Minister's Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath seat.
