CORRECTION: A story in last week's Cap Times on voter fraud reported that state Government Accountability Board spokesman Kyle Richmond said a college student was caught voting twice in 2004. While a college student was caught and charged with felony voter fraud, Richmond was referring to a man who was caught and prosecuted for voting twice in 2006. Also, the story attributed to Richmond that 400,000 voters would likely take advantage of the state's same-day registration law to vote in the November election. Richmond said 414,000 voters registered on the day of the election in 2006. He made no projection ...
