HOMELESS services in Hastings and St Leonards have received a cash boost of nearly [pounds sterling]200,000.
St John Ambulance Sussex has been rewarded with [pounds sterling]181,497 for its Homeless Service in the town, with the bonus funding coming from The Big Lottery.
It will provide funding for the charity's primary healthcare drop-in clinic at The Seaview Centre, Hatherley Road until 2010.
Mayor of Hastings, Cllr Maureen Charlesworth joined the chief executive of St John Ambulance, Janet Pattisson, the Homeless Service Team and John Evans, chief executive of the Seaview Centre, to make the official announcement on Wednesday (May 9).
