HASTINGS Athletic Club members produced a series of impressive runs in the second of this season's Brooks Sussex Cross-Country League meetings at Bexhill Down at the weekend.
The extremely muddy conditions failed to dampen the spirits of competitors who regard this event as one of their favourites.
Dan Anderson (31.03) and Henry Mountcastle (31.05) battled for the honour of first Hastings man home with only two seconds separating them at the end of the four lap 8k course, finishing in 10th and 11th places respectively.
