May 16--The Oklahoma City business community has promised to fly more American Airlines planes in the future in order to bring back jet service between the state's capital city and Dallas-Fort Worth, an airline spokesman said.
On Tuesday, Oklahoma City business and legislative leaders said the Fort Worth-based carrier will begin three daily jet flights Aug. 1 and another two flights on Sept. 4 after having only turboprop flights in the last five months. They also said the airline will add one jet flight to Chicago on June 1.
