A WOMAN was butted, punched and kicked while on the dance floor of a Halifax nightclub.
Ria Jefferson, 21, of Cousin Lane, Illingworth, Halifax, denies assaulting Fay Maureen Chapman occasioning her actual bodily harm. She has also pleaded not guilty to intimidating a witness - Miranda Greetham.
Bradford Crown Court heard the attack occurred on September 3 last year as Miss Chapman, Miss Greetham and another friend, Joanna Bintley, were enjoying a night out at The Coliseum, Wards End.
Christopher Smith, prosecuting, said: "While on the dance floor, it would appear they were sprayed with liquid - perhaps a drink and a female approached the three ...
