A GRAPHIC book telling the story of the Cragg Vale Coiners has gone on sale across the district.
And its creators hope the book, which features local people and landscapes including Shibden Hall, Heptonstall Museum and Halifax Piece Hall, will help secure funding for a film that could be made in Calderdale.
Writer and director Peter Kershaw, whose family come from Sowerby Bridge, has written a fictional account of the legendary local tale called The Last Coiner.
A thousand books have been produced thanks to funding from organisations including Calderdale Council.
