CALDER High School, Mytholmroyd, and Park Lane High, at Exley, Halifax, are among the latest schools to receive awards under the Metro SAFEMark scheme which aims to improve behaviour on buses.
"It teaches pupils valuable life lessons and improves the quality of the travel experience for all passengers, so I'm delighted that these five schools will now be joining the 11 others in West Yorkshire which have already achieved accreditation," said Metro deputy chairman Ryk Downes.
