VOLUNTEERS at a village community group have appealed for a vanishing building company to come back and finish repairs on a leaking roof.
When a roof started leaking at the Northowram centre, the committee splashed out more than [pounds sterling]2,000 on repairs. And when the drip continued they called the builders back to fix it.
But the company, called Bronte, of Huddersfield Road, Elland, could not be traced. Phone calls, letters and emails have been ignored.
