LIFE in the trenches was brought to life for students at Park Lane High School, Exley, Halifax.
John Spencer, military collections officer at Bankfield Museum, Halifax, visited Year 9 pupils to show what life would have been like for a World War One soldier.
Pupils were able to dress in original uniforms and look at the guns, ammunition and ration packs that soldiers - including those in Halifax's Duke of Wellington's Regiment - relied on.
