THE Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity has received support from across the region - in the form of 15,000 bras!
The Bag It Up Bra campaign started in September in conjunction with the recycling firm, Tradehouse (Elland) Ltd.
Bras will be resold to second-hand clothing markets in the UK and overseas, particularly in West Africa where second-hand bras are much in demand.
"Since the launch of this campaign, the response has been amazing, and we are extremely grateful for the support," said Paul Gowland, director of fund-raising, with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance based at Dean Clough, Halifax.
