Taj is checking into islands. After Phuket, Thailand, Taj could soon be spotted in the midst of the picturesque Havelock in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
It is learnt that Indias largest hospitality chain - the Taj group - has emerged as the frontrunner for the 40 acres land put up on offer by the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation. The plan is to build a luxury resort with some 100 rooms having either a beachfront or elevated ocean view.
