May 17--ATLANTA CHAMBER BOARD GETS YOUNG'S-EYE TOUR OF ATLANTA
ATLANTA -- Former Mayor Andrew Young has been wanting to take the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce's board on a tour of southwest Atlanta while he is chairman.
That tour took place Thursday. A bus took a couple of dozen chamber leaders and staff members to brunch at Jesse Hill Jr.'s home in a new subdivision off Cascade Road. (Hill was the first black businessman to head the chamber, in 1978.)
