Fell runners will descend on Calderdale in their hundreds tomorrow as Calder Valley promote the eighth annual British Fell and Hill Running Relay Championships.
More than 130 teams of six runnners will compete for the coveted national title on a challenging course in the private Castle Carr estate in the Luddenden Valley.
Teams will comprised of men, women only and veterans with two of the four stages being run solo and two as a pair.
The route will include rough moorland, steep climbs and a testing navigational leg.
Local teams include Calder Valley, Todmorden Harriers and Stainland Lions.
