China Shenhua Energy interested in acquiring Australian mining company - report
Shanghai. August 15. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Shenhua Energy Co. Ltd.
(CSEC), China's largest listed coal company, is interested in acquiring an Australian mining company, Chinese media reported Aug. 15.
According to China Business News, CSEC may take steps to acquire Felix Resources, an Australian company with a market value of about $3.53 billion. CSEC will compete with Brazil's CVRD for ownership of Felix, the report said.
