HALIFAX have welcomed yesterday's confirmation of a TV package for the National Leagues - even though they look set to feature only twice in 2007.
Rugby Football League bosses have sealed a two year deal with Rupert Murdoch's Sky, which will see National League rugby broadcast live as part of a three-hour show, incorporating the old 'Boots 'n' All' magazine programme, on Thursday nights.
The first game to be shown will be Leigh v Widnes on April 5, 24 hours before Fax kick off their NL1 campaign at title favourites Castleford.
