Halifax Irish 50
Greetland All Rounders 18
(Fee Cup quarter-final)
Fee cup holders Halifax Irish progressed to the semi-finals with a comfortable victory over Greetland All Rounders.
A faultless second half performance from Anthony Irvine and Andrew Brocklehurst's side saw them virtually clinch victory with a devastating opening 10 minute spell which brought 16 unanswered points.
Darren Williams was once again the chief tormentor, the young full back showing tremendous finishing skills to notch another hat trick of tries.
But the All Rounders gave the holders a scare after going in at the interval just 22-18 behind.
