Irish continued their excellent form with a comprehensive win over relegation-threatened Town, scrum half Chris Holroyd engineering the victory with another superb performance.
Richard Armstrong, Paul O'Byrne and James Yarker made strong early drives before Holroyd sent impressive loose forward Jim Magee over with a neat inside pass on six minutes. Lee Brook added the extras for 6-0.
Three minutes later the lead was doubled as Magee, Chris Norman and Darren Williams took Irish deep into Town territory and Chris Moran picked up a loose ball to crash over. Brook converted.
