Aug. 15--Supporters of a new exhibit of veterans' artifacts from the past 150 years are making a last push for donations aiming for a spring 2009 opening at the Depot in Duluth. The new "Generations of Service" exhibit needs another $35,000 so construction can begin in October, said Dennis Hughes, chairman of the advisory committee for Veterans Memorial Hall. The new exhibit, just off the Depot's Great Hall, will cover more than 900 square feet and replace the Vietnam-era display "Dignity Thru Unity" that has been on display since 2004.
