A STUNNNING knock of 160 from Tom Earle helped Mytholmroyd beat Sowerby Bridge and surge past faltering Bradshaw to complete a league and Parish Cup double on Saturday.
The teenager slammed 26 fours and four sixes as 'Royd piled up 301 at home to Bridge. When Robert Cole (four for 54) and Gideon Foster (two for 51) reduced Bridge to 49 for five, the hosts were sitting pretty and duly wrapped up a 156-run win inside 30 overs.
Mytholmroyd knew the silverware was theirs at that stage with reigning champions Bradshaw having failed to pick up a bowling point in the first half of the game at Copley.
