Wednesday, October 11: Only a few England players know what it feels like to captain a winning team in a World Cup final.
And David Wright, a Tring Hockey Club veterans player, is one of them.
The 68-year-old captained the national over 65s hockey team to victory against Germany in the final of the Grand Masters Hockey World Cup last month.
And that success, achieved in Germany, followed a gold medal win for David's team at the European Superveterans Championships in Italy in June.
