ATLANTA--May 21--The United States Postal Service, a target of jokes for many a comedian, is needling its competitors by name in a current print and TV ad campaign to push its Priority Mail service.

Taking on Atlanta's United Parcel Service and Memphis' Federal Express, the Postal Service sells its priority product as cheaper and more convenient for people who don't have a pressing need for overnight express delivery.

The television ad first shows a Federal Express "employee" saying, "FedEx has over 35,000 trucks to handle your two-day package. Cost: about $12." A UPS "employee" then says, "UPS has over 130,000 trucks for your two-day package. Cost: about ...
