MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1996--CFM MAJESTIC INC.(TSE: CFM) CFM Majestic Inc. ("CFM"), Canada's largest fireplace manufacturer, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Vermont Castings Inc. ("Vermont Castings").
Vermont Castings is the largest manufacturer of free-standing stoves in North America. It has the number one brand name and market share in the U.S. retrofit hearth industry, and has international sales throughout Europe, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the emerging markets of South America.
