A LAGER lover has brought new meaning to building a beer garden.
Hartlepool man Philip Muspratt, 54, has his own take on recycling empties.
The ex-soldier, who retired through disability, first featured in the Mail after completing his 35ft long beer bottle wall, beer bottle and lager can fish pond, and beer can caravan stand.
And now he is happy to reveal his latest venture - a Fosters can porch and Carling can wall in his front garden.
In fact, Philip, of Raby Road, has used so many thousands of empties to create his beloved beer sculptures, he wouldn't like to estimate just how many it has taken.
