WILSONVILLE, Ore. -- Thrifty PayLess Inc. has high hopes for its new pharmacy benefits management division (PBM), says vice president of managed care Jerry Edwards.
Thrifty PayLess Health Services, the PBM which the drug chain formed last month in a joint venture with San Diego-based health systems company MedImpact, is expected to be handling the prescription drug benefits for more than 500,000 patients by the end of the year.
