NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 21, 1996--AVIC Group International, Inc. (OTC:AVIC), and Sichuan United Electronic Technology Development Corp., an operating authority of the PRC's Government of Sichuan Province, together announced today that they had agreed to jointly develop a series of major telecommunication projects, including wireline, wireless mobile, paging and satellite networks across Sichuan Province.
