SHREWSBURY - Like too many girls, Nicole Boliver and Catherine Jreije were sometimes bullied in school and weren't always comfortable making new friends.
Thanks to a summer program they just completed called "You Go Girl," the girls will be full of self-confidence and have a sense of empowerment when they return to Oak Middle School in a few weeks.
Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services conducted the program this summer for girls ages 11 to 14, to empower them regarding self-esteem issues, peer pressure, bullying, body image, personal care, healthy friendship relationships, and the negativity that celebrities can have on ...
