PROVIDENCE, R.I.--May 21--A federal judge has ordered Baccarat, the French maker of fine crystal, to immediately resume selling its products to the Rhode-Island based Ross-Simons -- something that it has refused to do since January because of Ross-Simons's policy of discounting Baccarat products below full suggested retail price.
Senior U.S. Judge Francis J. Boyle issued a preliminary injunction against Baccarat pending a trial in the case, saying that Ross-Simons's business and reputation could be irreparably harmed if Baccarat did not continue to provide its products to Ross-Simons.
