A Chinese company is to establish a million dollar brewery at Dawhenya in the Greater Accra Region in August this year, to produce beer and wine from rice.
A four member team from PRC Trading of Huang Gu, China, has signed a memorandum of understanding in Accra with its Ghanaian counterpart, Benny Ashun and Associates. Mr Jerry Zhang, President of PRC Trading, announced the decision when the team met with Mr Mike Akyeampong and Mr Atsu-Ahedor, Deputy Ministers of Food and Agriculture, in Accra on February 13.
Machinery and equipment valued at about $12m is expected to arrive in the country from China for the commencement of the project. According to ...
