A TEENAGE stock car racer was 'absolutely elated' last week after winning all her races - just weeks after losing two fingers in an accident.

Rebecca Hands, 14, of Onchan, had to spend two nights in Noble's Hospital, Braddan, after injuring her left hand when her car rolled in a race between Reliant Robins last month.

She returned to the racetrack last Thursday and won all three of her races. On Saturday she did the same again.

'She's absolutely elated - over the moon - we all are,' said her dad, Steve.

'She was in the lead in the Manx Ministox before the accident.
