DOUGLAS Lifeboat is to hold its annual commemorative service in memory of Sir William Hillary.
Sir William was a member of the Douglas lifeboat crew and founder of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in March 1824.
The service will be conducted by Archdeacon Brian Smith at St George's Church, Douglas, at 3pm on Sunday, January 7.
St George's Church Choir and the Mariners Choir will provide the music.
