CHIEF Minister Tony Brown is due to meet the new UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown for the first time tomorrow (Monday).
The two Browns will meet in Belfast at a gathering of government leaders from across the British Isles.
Also attending the British-Irish Council (BIC) being held amid tight security at Stormont, was the new Northern Ireland First Minister Dr Ian Paisley and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and new Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond.
Also attending will be Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Welsh Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones, Jersey Chief Minister Frank Walker and Guernsey Deputy Chief Minister Stuart Falla.
