CASTLETOWN again showed top form in the Blackrock rifle shooting league last week as they edged out Kirk Michael.

Leading the southerners home were Trevor Taubman, S.G. Gardener, T. Clegg and Susan Caley all of whom hit 98.

Heading struggling Kirk Michael's reply were Kevin Quinn on 96 and S. Kennaugh on 95.

With both at full strength, Port St Mary took on and beat Cossacks.

Port's star shooter was Lara Ward who hit 100. She was ably assisted by 99s from Derek Kermode and Paul Clague. Laurie Cain and grandson Mark both replied with 97s for Cossacks but this was not enough to cause problems for the ...
