MINNEAPOLIS -- Carlos Silva spent the first 30 minutes after the Mariners clubhouse opened to the media sitting in a massive black leather chair alone with his thoughts. His teammates didn't talk to him. He made eye contact with no one. All that was left to do was to brood over his latest spate of trouble.
Silva, who came of age with the Minnesota Twins, returned to the Metrodome for the first time Friday as a member of the Mariners. More than anything, he wanted to have a good game against his old team.
