"Lymphocyte proliferation testing (LPT) has some advantages over patch testing to diagnose allergic contact dermatitis. It is harmless, objective and can be used in clinical situations where patch testing is not recommended," scientists in Curitiba, Brazil report (see also Allergic Contact Dermatitis).
