New York -- Balson Hercules Group Ltd., a subsidiary of Consoltex (USA) Inc. of Montreal, has acquired the assets of N. Erlanger Blumgart & Co.
Erlanger, founded in 1877, is a diversified converter of men's and women's lining fabrics for apparel and for styled fabrics for the retail trade. It will become Balson/ Erlanger, a division of Balson.
According to William J. Milowitz, president of Balson Hercules Group, the new division will augment its current men's lining business and together will be one of the largest suppliers of these types of fabrics in North America. The group ...
