NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1996--The Wall Street Journal, whose editors are the "keepers" of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, chronicles the stock market barometer's first 100 years in the Commemorative Report, a special, two-section feature appearing in its Tuesday, May 28 issue.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average, created by Dow Jones & Company co-founder Charles H. Dow, made its debut May 26, 1896. Dow Jones publishes The Wall Street Journal and its international editions.
