WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1996-- CaliforniaCare Health Plans, an affiliate of Blue Cross of California, has signed a contract with the Local Initiative Health Authority of Los Angeles County (Local Initiative) to provide managed health care services for up to 150,000 Medi-Cal recipients.
Individuals eligible for Medi-Cal in Los Angeles County may enroll in the Local Initiative beginning December 1996.
