DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 23, 1996--Central and South West Corporation (NYSE:CSR), a Dallas-based public utility holding company, said it has completed the next step in shaping its organization to reflect its strategy in preparation for greater competition in the electric power industry.

E.R. Brooks, Central and South West's chairman, president and chief executive officer, named 17 executives to positions as vice presidents or corporate officers, effective immediately. The moves complete the company's restaffing of all executive positions except for one that remains to be filled.
