Cerebral palsy sufferer Gul-Fatima is cheered to the rafters at school's big night
A cerebral palsy sufferer who has been a "breath of fresh air" since she moved to a Luton secondary school, has received a nationally acclaimed prize.
The presentation of the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award to 13-year-old Gul-Fatima Zaidi was one of the highlights of a ceremony at Challney High School for Girls.
Past and present pupils, proud parents and staff, along with local dignitaries, packed into the Stoneygate Road school's hall to celebrate another year of achievement.
And one of the biggest cheers of the night was reserved for Gul-Fatima ...
