Luton boss says he's not out to raise his own profile

Luton manager Mike Newell has stressed his stance on corruption in football has nothing to do with raising his profile in the game.

The 41-year-old has spoken out strongly against the role of agents and was featured in last week's BBC Panorama investigation pointing out two men who he said had offered him bungs.

But while some have accused Newell of trying to hog headlines with his comments, the Hatters boss insists it has nothing to with any ego-trip.
