Luton's world boxing champion faces Aussie in WBO interim fight

Luton's world lightweight boxing champion Graham Earl is to face Australian Michael Katsidis in a WBO lightweight interim fight at Wembley Arena on February 17.

Earl, the current WBU champion, faces Katsidis on a bill that also includes former Olympic heroes Amir Khan and Audley Harrison.

Sports Network revealed in a London press conference today that the winner of the Earl v Katsidis encounter will go on to fight for the full WBO crown.
