NEW YORK--Interactive rugs are fun. They can also help stimulate a child's cognitive growth. That's the opinion of Prof. Roger A. Hart, professor of environmental psychology at the City College of New York's Graduate Center.

"I'm surprised and thrilled to know that a product such as this exists," said Dr. Hart, who is also co-director of CUNY's Children's Environments Research Group.
