Aug. 19--MEDORA -- At the age of 58, Bob Jones is accomplishing one of his life's dreams. The Bristol, England, native has always wanted to travel across the United States to El Paso, Texas. Starting from near the Canadian border and traveling south to El Paso, Jones plans on accomplishing that dream by December. Although a simple feat for many people, Jones intends on making the more than 2,000-mile trek completely on horseback. On July 31, Jones began his trip, traveling through Fortuna, Grenora, Zahl, Williston, Alexander, Watford City and down the Maah Daah Hey Trail in North Dakota.
