Trust can cash in for bridge memorial
A MEMORIAL to those who lost their lives building the Forth Bridge moved a step closer this week.
The Forth Bridge Memorial Arts Trust has been formed to take the project forward.
Both South and North Queensferry communities will be involved in developing a fitting tribute to those who died.
With its charitable status, the Trust will be eligible to apply for funding from arts bodies and seek business sponsorship, grants and public donations.
And it is likely it will involve a team of two artists in residence working with both communities to develop the memorial.
