HE may be old by name and in age - he is 80 in December - but Allan Old remains young in outlook.

The 2007 Scottish Championships are in full swing at Ayr Northfield this weekend - but turn the clock back almost 20 years to 1989 at Queens Park and Allan Old of Linlithgow was skipping Billy Watson, Graeme Byrne and John Graham to the fours title.

And just off their shoulder the trio of Malcolm McNicol, Ross Graham, and Graham Laurie were also spinning Linlithgow magic in the triples to complete a fantastic double.
